Rửa sạch tôm, bóc bỏ đầu, đuôi và chỉ lưng. Đánh đều trứng với phần rượu trắng đã chuẩn bị. Cắt nhỏ hành lá, nấm và cắt mỏng tỏi.
Sau đó, cắt nhỏ tôm, thịt và rắc lên 1/4 muỗng cà phê muối, 1/4 muỗng cà phê tiêu để ướp.
Làm nóng chảo có đáy sâu, sau khi chảo nóng thì cho dầu cải và tỏi vào phi thơm, khi tỏi đã chuyển sang màu vàng nâu thì vớt ra, đặt lên giấy ăn cho thấm ráo dầu.
Kế đến, vẫn dùng chảo cũ cho thịt vào xào nhanh, đến khi thịt chuyển màu và chín thì cho nấm, hành lá và 1/4 muỗng cà phê muối, 1/4 muỗng cà phê tiêu, 1/2 muỗng cà phê bột ngọt vào, xào đều khoảng 30 giây.
Thêm tôm vào chảo xào thêm 30 giây nữa thì cho trứng vào, đảo đều nhanh tay. Khi trứng vẫn còn ướt, bạn cho cơm vào, xào đều.
Khi trứng và cơm đã tơi, nêm dầu hào và xào đến khi cơm được trộn lẫn với các nguyên liệu còn lại, nêm nếm lần cuối cho vừa ăn, đến khi thấy cơm hơi khô thì tắt bếp.
Trước khi dùng, múc cơm ra chén và đặt lên vài lát tỏi phi thơm!
